Beach

After breakfast, we went back to our suite, put on some sunblock, grabbed our stuff, then walked to the beach to build a sandcastle.  This is what the Little Guy is looking forward to during this trip.

Beach Day

It's a beautiful day, in the high 70s, so we ventured out to the beach to play in the sand, soak up some rays with the scent of salt water and had a fun summer morning.

Big Waves

… crashing on the shore, the sweet scent of the ocean,  the birds singing.  Mornings are always beautiful in Cabo.

Today after breakfast, we ventured out to the beach again.  There were a few couples walking, a family of three building a sandcastle and some pelicans waiting to catch some fish.  Looking back at the hotel, I saw bikini-clad ladies on their way to the pool and some more folks walking behind them.

Off to the Beach

In my little hometown we have beautiful white-sand beaches. 

Today, we drove down south passing green rice fields with some white herons feeding on the ground, a small trail, an estuary with some mangrove trees...

... then about half hour later we're here.

Hammock on the Beach

There's nothing more relaxing than laying on a hammock, a bottle of beer on one hand, while listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore.

Life is beautiful!

Mexican Night

Hola!  It's Mexican Night tonight and dinner is served on the beach. 

While the sun goes down.

And the water sparkles.  

A Mariachi band is playing some familiar songs like La Bamba, Novia Mia, La Calandria and No Volvere.

Ay yay yayay!

Picnic by the Beach

Now it's time for a leisurely morning on the beach...

Love the cool ocean breeze, the sound of the waves crashing on the shore and the feel of the sand on my bare feet!

Out Into the Sun and Sand

Yay, it’s time for a beach outing!

Beach toys on one hand, picnic blanket on the other, we headed down to the resort’s private beach for some fun under the Mexican sun.

Little guy was endlessly amused dumping sand into and out of the bucket and truck.
