Kitchen Window in Autumn

I'm always excited to decorate when season changes.

Here's a peek at our kitchen window this Autumn.

Love the colors -- orange, yellow and red.

And, the pumpkins too.

Happy Autumn!!!

Sunday Brunch by a Picturesque Creek

The beautiful scenery, the soothing sound of the water flowing on the creek,  the birds singing in the trees, Pedalers Fork in Old Town Calabasas is such a perfect place for a laid-back Sunday brunch.

On the table...

Skuna Bay smoked salmon, poached eggs, spinach, caramelized onion, hollandaise on grain English muffin

Belgian Waffle with rock sugar, strawberries and vanilla bean yogurt

A side of Tomato Bisque, a cup of Latte and a cup of Kenyan coffee.

Happy Sunday!

A Cup of Cappuccino

Over the past few years my relationship with coffee has evolved into a whole new level. While growing up coffee was prohibited in our family because of its health effects, but things have changed. New studies revealed the benefits of coffee -- so coffee and I became friends :-)  I used to drink Starbucks Frap occasionally, then husband and I started brewing coffee daily at home.  More recently, we are into artisan coffee.  And, we have a plan to explore artisan coffee shops in Los Angeles.  Our first stop… The Refinery.

Don’t you love it when your coffee is adorned with art? I surely do :-)
