First Day of School

Summer camp has ended.  Today marks the first day of the Fall program. There are new faces. There are friends who have left for kindergarten. The fun activities continue… singing, dancing, art projects, storytelling and play time.

PreSchool Field Trip

The Little Guy and his preschool classmates went to a field trip today to an indoor play space. The place has all the favorites -- slides,  cars, trucks, trains,  mazes, tunnels, bouncy houses, gymnastic mats and lots more. 

The little tots had loads of fun sliding, running, jumping and playing. They all got so tired and took a three-hour nap instead of the usual two hours.

Toddler Talk: Lunch

Little Guy: Hmmm… fried rice and chicken (actually they had pilaf and chicken skewers)

Toddler Craft: Tie-Dye Shirt

Where to get a toddler plain white shirt?

Michael’s, my go-to-store for arts and crafts.  So on Tuesday during lunch break I went there, they have tie-dye t-shirts in different colors -- but the smallest from the Youth section is still too big for the Little Guy.  I got one anyway just in case my work calendar gets crazy the following day and I don’t get a chance to go hunt down a shirt again.

Came Wednesday, work was not as hectic so I drove to Burbank Town Center.  I went to Macy’s first, there were onesies in sets of five, but no plain white T-shirt.  I walked and walked and stumbled upon Old Navy.  I went inside, ta-da! on the shelf were white t-shirts from size 6 months to 5T.

And today, here’s what we came home with… our Little Guy’s first tie-dye shirt!

Swim Day at Preschool

Valentine's $10 Gift Exchange

Today was a fun day at the Little Guy's preschool. They had gift exchange, they gave each of their classmates Valentine's cards (I had to write thirty-two cards last night) and they had pizza for lunch.   

Here's what he got at the gift exchange... a dino play-doh.  Nice!
