"Double Delight" Tea Rose

A very fragrant rose with creamy white petals edged with dark pink... its rich scent perfumes our yard.

Orchid Rockrose

There's one in our front yard, by the pedestrian walkway. It was plated between our property and our neighbor's.  I water it once in a while,  I saw our neighbor watering it too.

Picnic in the Garden

Spread out the blanket in the garden and spent a lazy afternoon nibbling on some strawberries, cherries, blueberries, raspberries and grapes.

Off to Cabo

Second time for the Little Guy and third for us.

We love going to Cabo.  Food is great, people are friendly and it’s very relaxing.  Whenever we go to Europe, we are always on the go -- as we have to cover as many museums/attractions as we possibly can.  In Cabo, it’s all about food, drink, beach, pool, eat, drink, sleep… and the cycle continues for a week.  What more could be relaxing than that.

Beautiful Day for a Short Hike

Beginning of the month is usually not as busy  at work so I took a short hike with a colleague.

Here’s a snapshot of a small hill we passed by which is covered with gorgeous spring flowers.

A Trip to the Danish Village

A spontaneous getaway up north to the beautiful Danish town of Solvang about two hours drive from Los Angeles.

We strolled around as we had in the past, ate some sausages and the traditional Danish pancake called aebleskiver, grabbed a couple bottles of wine and some cheese and drove back home -- while enjoying the gorgeous wildflowers along the way.

Spring Forward >>>

Daylight saving time kicked off at 2 o'clock AM Sunday which means it's time to move the clock an hour ahead.

On our way to church this morning I took this snapshot of the sky before sunrise.

Travel Flashback: Holland's Keukenhof Gardens

This is a new series on the blog.  I have so many wonderful memories and photos that I would like to share with you so I thought of starting a Travel Photo Flashback.

Since it's Springtime, I figured it's just fitting to kick off the Travel Flashback series with the world's largest flower garden KEUKENHOF which is located in South Holland.  Around this time of the year approximately 7 million tulips, hyacinths daffodils narcissi, gladioli and other spring bulbs are in full bloom in this truly stunning garden.
