As Summer Marches On

The unseasonably hot weather continues to linger across Southern California but not for long.  It's already mid September and the colder days are on their way.  So to enjoy what is left of the lazy days of Summer we headed to the park.

Teething

Little Bundle of Joy's teeth start pushing through the gum line :-)

Baby is now 7 months

Happy 7-month Birthday our darling little boy!  You are growing up way way too fast!

 At 7 months you...

-- Still fit into 6 – 9 months clothes

-- Still wear size 3 diapers

-- Drink four 6 oz bottles at the day care center and four 4 oz bottles at home

-- Eat Gerber Organic Pureed food

-- Sleep 9 - 11 hours at night.  Take 2 – 3 naps during the day

-- Are definitely teething.  I saw two tooth poking through

-- Sit perfectly in the high chair

Went home today with these two lovely footprint crafts from our Little Bundle of Joy's Art Class at the Infant Center.

Water Grill - Santa Monica

I grew up on the coast and LOVE LOVE LOVE seafood! Today, we headed to Ocean View in Santa Monica for a seafood feast at the newly opened Water Grill -- the second post of the Michelin-starred Water Grill in DTLA. 

On the table:

Raw Bar: Oysters, Scallops, Clams, Lobster, Shrimp, Mussel, Sea Urchin
Dessert:  Caramel Bread Pudding with Alaea Red Sea Salt

A Taste of Cuba

Cuban food is absolutely delicious! Our two favorites in Los Angeles – Portos and Versailles. Tonight we went to Versailles for dinner.

Grammy's Birthday in Westlake

To celebrate Grammy's birthday we brought her to Zin Bistro Americana in Westlake --  a great restaurant serving great food and overlooking a beautiful lake.
