Today, we started out with no set plans, but it turned out into a really fun Saturday. A couple of hours after we woke up, we jumped in the car, rolled back the sunroof and drove for a little fun in the sun and ended up in Santa Monica. When we got there most restaurants were still closed so we took a stroll along Third Street Promenade which got us to Loteria Grill. Our last experience at this restaurant was great so we’re back. Husband had Puré de Tortilla, Carne Deshebrada Burrito and a glass of Margarita. I had 3 Tacos -- Carne Deshebrada, Carnitas en Salsa Morita and Mole Poblano con Pollo.
Afterwards, we walked to the Farmers Market in time to catch the last hour of the market before heading to Menchie’s for some froyo.
