A colleague/friend of mine drove us from Nuremberg to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a charming medieval town located along the Romantic Road in the Franconia Region of Bavaria. From the parking lot, we walked on the city wall and into cobblestone streets to The Plönlein (Little Square), the most picturesque spot in Rothenburg.
