Strolling Into Spring

Hooray for the season of green grass, blooming flowers and singing birds… Hello Spring!!!

Our little bundle of joy is 7 weeks old now.  He remains a pretty easy baby and continues to smile and “talk” to us with his cute gurgles, coos and all sort of ways.

Friday was the first time I took the baby on a road trip without hubby.  Thankfully, he did not cry the entire 60-mile drive.

Here’s a montage of our mini-adventure…

Now, some images from our lazy weekend dining al-fresco...

And, some snapshots of our morning snuggles...

Lastly, a look back at 2012…

It was late Spring last year when we traveled to Nuremberg to wish for a baby at Schöner Brunnen --  the fountain that granted the same wish of  a close friend.  Fast forward to present, I couldn't help but reflect on how many beautiful changes have taken place since then.

Now, off to the shower before baby wakes up!  Wishing everyone a Happy Spring!

Little Irish Spirit Goin' On

Our little family of three were decked out in green to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.  I hope everyone did something fun on St. Patty’s Day especially if you're Irish!   I do not have Irish in my blood, (although my maiden name “Lordan” is apparently an Irish family name) but that never stopped me from celebrating the tradition of others. I think it's a great way to bring culture into your home and also a fun way to create special memories with your little one.

As always, here are some snapshots from our photo shoot...

Key chain I got from Dublin... wishing that the luck o' the Irish is always on my side :-)

Speaking of which, here are some snapshots from our trip to Ireland a few years back...

And, lastly...

"May joy and peace surround you,
 Contentment latch your door,
And happiness be with you now.
And bless you evermore."

6 Weeks Into Babyhood

Husband and I have spent lots of time snuggling trying to cherish these precious  moments with our Little Bundle of Joy because we know that time continues to pass swiftly.  Blink, blink, blink, they are flying by – and, before we know it, a new day is here!

Baby is changing so much every day.  We have seen him try to talk and it’s the most incredible feeling. We have also seen him smile in his sleep, while feeding and while he is awake.  He is awake more and more during the day now – and, he is still a pretty easy baby.

Here are some snapshots from this week…

5 Weeks Happenings

Where has the time gone?  Baby is 5 weeks old now!  He remains such a sweet little boy.

Let's see how this week has been...

A visit to our Pediatrician.  He is now 2 pounds heavier than his birth weight
