Well gosh darn, it's late Wednesday already. The days between Friday
and today went by in a quick little flash.
Trying to remember what we’ve been up to in the last six days. Hmmm… Friday started with the usual morning cup of joe (Starbucks Dark Roast French Toast) and a bowl of oatmeal, then salad for lunch and grilled steak for dinner. Saturday we met-up with an events manager for SRC then headed to Studio City for some sushi. We started with Ankimo Sashimi and Shishito Pepper before feasting on our favorite nigiri sushi (while baby was sound asleep on the car seat next to us... smiley). We had Sea Urchin, Live Sweet Shrimp, Blue Fin Tuna, Spanish Mackerel, Yellow Tail Belly, Red Snapper and Blue Crab. We also ordered Crispy Rice w/Spicy Tuna and Rainbow Roll.
“Sushi-d” up, we went shopping for baby’s clothes at Carter’s afterward.
Then came Sunday, we woke up and went through our ritual of admiring our little bundle of joy then went shopping for some Spring/Summer clothing.
Monday night I made Israeli Couscous Salad with Chicken and Veggies for dinner and then yesterday we had Chipotle takeout.
In other news, baby and I have sort of fallen into a few routine throughout our day together. In the morning, about an hour after feeding, we do tummy time, kick & play piano gym, sing nursery songs (our current fave: Pop! Goes the Weasel) and read books. Sometimes there’s a walk outside to admire the flowers and listen to the birds. Other times we just look out the window.
Our evenings are more delightful when Daddy comes home from work and Baby JD gets on to his lap. Hubby: Fatherhood looks great on you :-)
Have a great Wednesday evening everyone!
And now, I’m leaving you with these photos…
