Located on a strip mall next to Michelin-starred Asanebo on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, Lala’s Argentine Grill is one of the best restaurants in SF Valley serving Argentine food.
The menu is quite extensive. The starters – sopa, empanadas, chorizo and tortillas. There are sandwiches, salad, pasta, seafood, chicken and of course beef... considered Argentina’s national dish.
If it’s dinner time we most likely had ordered the parillada/plato mixto. But it was lunch and we had to head back to work, so husband and I both had lomito sandwich served with a side of fries and salad. Lomito is made of grilled thinly cut Angus beef skirt steak with lettuce, tomato and chimichurri.
