It's Chinese food for lunch today. Service was on the slow side. Scratch that. Very slow. Actually, it took almost an hour before we got our food we were starving already. Apparently, one of chefs took a break so only one chef was left in kitchen whipping up all the orders. As soon as the other chef came back food came out pretty quickly.
On the table...
- Seafood Heaven -- shrimp, scallops, fish filet, calamari and baby lobster sautéed with mixed vegetables in a rice wine sauce, and served on a fried potato basket.
- Orange Beef -- flash fried tender beef with a spicy orange peel sauce
- Buddha’s Feast -- mixed vegetables simmered in a light brown sauce
All three dishes came out surprisingly delicious. It was well worth the wait.
And, another celebrity sighting. It was Kiefer Sutherland two tables away from us.
